CBS Radio Introduces HD ‘Quadcast’ in DC

Yesterday, CBS Radio unveiled the FAN Sports Network, "...the first four-channel HD Radio digital multicast station in the country."

That's a mouthful.

Basically, the new HD frequencies created by splitting the original frequency of WJFK-FM/The Fan in Washington, D.C. have become a "network" of sports stations in what CBS is calling a "quadcast".

So, if you have an HD radio, you can now hear WJZ-FM from Baltimore on the HD2 frequency, WFAN/New York on HD3, and Philadelphia's WIP on HD4.

Don't live in D.C.? Good news: all these stations are available online. Listen Now: WIP-AM, WJFK-FM, WJZ-FM, and WFAN-AM.
