"Investors probably don't care because Howard Stern and his $100 million compensation package have been controversial for years," writes timesoftheinternet.com. SIRIUS XM Radio's stock has not taken a hit over the possibilities.

Michael Preston at nbcmiami.com says Stern is thinking of taking his show to the Internet. "Stern thinks that he could produce his show as a subscription based podcast," writes Preston. (Maybe I'm a visionary but I suggested that option 5 years ago when I wrote "Maybe Howard Stern Should've Podcasted Instead of Joining SIRIUS Satellite Radio")

One thing is for certain: whatever Howard Stern does will churn up headlines and interest.

Doctor Radio will offer a 24-hour "Back to School" marathon hosted by pediatrician, Perri Klass, MD. She "...will dispense her knowledge on all aspects of beginning the school year from back to school medical exams to making new friends, [and] separation anxieties, " according to a news release. Klass will be joined by many other medical professionals. The marathon begins 12:00 a.m. ET September 6. (SIRIUS channel 114/XM channel 119)

In honor of Labor Day, Freewheelin' with Meredith Ochs and Chris T., a daily talk show, is talking up items "Made in the USA" all week including "...vehicles, fuel, clothing, musical instruments, hardware, home furnishings, even food," says SIRIUS XM. (SIRIUS channel 147 and XM channel 171)
