KFI’s John and Ken Suspended Over Whitney Remarks
John and Ken, two Los Angeles radio personalities on KFI-AM 640, have been suspended until Monday over remarks they made about the late Whitney Houston. (Screenshot: KFIam640.com)
According to the station's website, the duo was temporarily taken off the air "...for making insensitive and inappropriate comments about the late Whitney Houston." Management said it did not "condone, support, or tolerate statements of this kind."
Here's a small snippet of their conversation: "So she's cracked out for 20 years and we heard how obnoxious she was at these parties, doing handstands and she's babbling like an idiot. Wet hair; mismatched clothes. Yeah: it's bag lady time." Hear more in this YouTube video.
