Pockets of Progressive Talk Radio Still ‘Flourish’

Brian Stelter writes in The New York Times that, "...pockets of progressive talk are flourishing on the radio dial despite Air America's misfortunes."

Stelter goes on to say: "Air America's biggest names have been more successful after leaving the network. Rachel Maddow has a prime-time show on MSNBC, and Al Franken, the former comedian most closely associated with Air America, is a senator from Minnesota."

In the article Michael Harrison, editor of Talkers Magazine, says Air America Media's problem was not knowing, "...whether they were a political campaign or a broadcasting company."
