Soupy Sales Dead, Once Worked on Radio Between Don Imus and Howard Stern

Soupy Sales has died at the age of 83. Sales was a comedian, TV host, and even a radio personality. Although his fame came mostly from "The Soupy Sales Show", a syndicated offering in the mid-1960s, Sales also has a radio claim: for a time he was the radio personality at WNBC-AM/New York between Don Imus and Howard Stern beginning in 1985. On a personal note: Years ago when I worked in Chicago radio I had the chance to interview Soupy Sales on my show. He was a delightful, gentle, funny man.
